I live in a town where relatively few things happen. I have never been to a concert, so when I heard that Third Eye Blind was coming to our local venue, I was pretty excited. I somehow convinced all of my friends from another local school to go, but I wouldn’t be able to buy my ticket until the day before the concert due to school and practice. Then I thought, how great would it be if I could interview the band? So I got the band’s manager and PR’s email addresses and sent them an message asking if I could interview 3eb for my school’s newspaper. Then the show sold out. My teacher even sent 3eb’s people an email on my behalf, but to no avail. They never responded to any of the emails, so I sat home reading I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, while my friend Leah crowd surfed. Around the time the concert would have ended, I got out my debit card and went onto Ticketmaster. My ticket to the Dave Matthews concert should be arriving within 10-14 business days.

Where both halves of the world meet… kind of April 16, 2010
The Prime Meridian separates the Eastern and Western hemispheres; it most notably passes through Greenwich, London. On top of the highest hill in Greenwich sits the Royal Observatory, where the meridian is labeled onto the concrete and a clock on the building tells the exact time. When we were in London, my Aunt and I decided to take a picture standing on both sides of this line, so we took a ferry down the Thames to the Greenwich stop where it seemed as if buckets of water were falling from of the sky. By the time we walked through the village, across the observatory grounds, and up the hill we were exhausted and soaked. Although it was kind of anti-climactic, it’s something everyone should do if they have the opportunity.
Everybody has that friend April 15, 2010
My dear best friend Haley has decided to complete a few things on my list. She’s traveled all over the world, and we’ll be venturing to British Columbia this summer together. She’s very unique in the sense that she’s not afraid to be completely… well, herself. As you can see in the video below, she attempted to rap like Lil Wayne, but something tells me he wouldn’t be free-styling about lap dogs and dill pickles.

My grandma saw Wedding Crashers, and kept saying how crude and inappropriate it was. Despite this, she still laughed at a lot of the parts in the movie. She even thought the part when Todd, Secretary Cleary’s gay son, tried to seduce Jeremy (Vince Vaughn), was one of the funniest things she’s ever seen. According to many other blogs, this movie inspired alot of people to go crash weddings (hopefully not for the neud portraits, though); many of whom follow the legendary rules of wedding crashing. My dear friend Justina and I hope to do the same this summer, with my grandmother’s blessing, but we will bring gifts; don’t worry upstate New York.
